Trifield Meter Specifications
Detects either frequency-weighted magnetic fields (2 separate scales)
or frequency-weighted electric fields in the ELF and VLF range. It has
significant sensitivity at 100,000 Hz, well past the 17,000 Hz horiontal
scan of video displays.
 |
Magnetic - Scale: 0 to 100 mG (milligauss) -
Minimum Sensitivity = 1 mG - Accuracy: + or - 20% - Frequency Range: 50 Hz to
100 kHz
|
 |
Magnetic Expanded Sensitivty - Scale: 0 to 3 mG
- Minimum Sensitivity = .2 mG - Accuracy: + or - 20% - Frequency Range: 50 Hz to
100 kHz
|
 |
Electric - Scale: 0 to 100 KV / m (Kilovolts per
Meter) at 60 Hz with resolution of 0.5 KV / m (1 KV / m = 1000 V / m - Minimum
Sensitivity = .5 KV / m - Accuracy: + or - 30% - Frequency Range: 50 Hz to 100
kHz
|
 |
Radio / Microwave - Scale: 0 to 1 mW / cm2 (milliwatts
per centimeter squared) - Minimum Sensitivity = .01 mW/cm2 - Accuracy: -50% or
+100% due to reflections off the room and / or user - 50 MHz to 3 GHz
|
- Magnetic and Electric settings measure TRUE magnitude, a feature usually
only found on very expensive meters.
